There are two endings in Oddworld: Soulstorm â a bad ending and a good ending. Getting the bad ending is easy, and getting the good ending will take a lot of work. Luckily, this game isn't as demanding as the original Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey. In the first game in the series, you had to save all of your friends (enslaved creatures called Mudokons) to earn the good ending. This time, you "only" have to save 80%.
The mudokons are the alien slaves you try to save in Oddworld: Soulstorm - and they're almost all optional. If you save only the necessary Mudokons, you'll be way below the 80% you need for a good ending. Mudokons can be hidden in secret areas, or perfectly easy to find - but extremely difficult to save. There are sections that are simple platforming challenges for ABe

How to get the good ending
The earning the voucher ending in Oddworld: Soul Storm, you must score a majority of Good Quarma ranks for each level. You will be able to see your Quarma in the level select menu â under each level you will see a red or blue icon. A red icon means Bad Quarma and a blue icon means Good Quarma. It's normal to get multiple ranks of Bad Quarma - you don't need all the good Quarma to get the best ending.
I was able to get the Good Ending with three ranks of Bad Quarma. Thus, you absolutely do not need to replay all levels to get Good Quarma. To get good Quarma, you must mainly save Mudokons.
- How do you get Good Quarma?
- you must save at least 80% Mudokons in a level.
You also need to make sure that a Platinum Badge level of the Mudokons survive the three sections of Ladder Defense. During Ladder Defenses, no more than 50 Mudokons can be killed. There's no reason to go for 100% â and these sections are tough, so you're bound to miss a few.
Abe can kill as many Slig security guards as he wants. Killing Sligs doesn't count on your Quarma - it's about saving as many Mudokons as possible. Check out the guides for each tier above to make it easier to save the last of the Mudokons. Some levels require you to find secret areas where more Mudokons are hiding.
What happens in the good ending?
In the good ending, Abe and his friends successfully add the cure to the Soulstorm Brewery and automatically send the safe version to factories all over Oddworld, saving the Mudokons from eternal slavery.
Molluck the Glukkon arrives at the Soulstorm brewery with his head of security Slig, who infiltrates the building and spys on a meeting between the brewmaster, Morguer and Aslik â three powerful Glukkons. The Sligs turn on their bosses, blasting all three bosses after Molluck promises to pay them.
The scene takes place in a quiet field where the Mudokons have safely escaped. The Magog Cartel armies don't pursue them â and thanks to the stupidity of the Glukkons, they don't even know that Abe has escaped or that the cure is being distributed to every Mudokon on the continent. No one is chasing them. They are really free!
But, Abe finally reveals what he learned from the Guardian. The original Mudokon queen is still alive â and she lives richly in the Glukkon capital. As if things weren't bad enough for Abe, they will now have to search for answers deep in the heart of the most dangerous place for all Mudokon.
